Arc 1 (green) and Arc 2 (blue) meet at the PRC — centres O₁ and O₂ are on opposite sides. At equal R and Δ the tangents at PC and PT are parallel. Reverse curves are restricted from high-speed roads due to the sudden lateral force reversal at the PRC.
